(An acrostic piece in adoration of Laura Homer)
Love costumed and clad in loyalty,
Abased, pedestalled on the bare rock,
Under the shelves of dark cold clouds,
Reigns and rules the kingdom of bareness,
Across the waters of the seven seas.
Humility wrapped in the fur of elegance,
Obedience wreathed with the wavy smiles,
Mellowness of the forbidden fruit that tempted,
Eve and Adam: the grandparents of humanity,
Relentful nymph with the capacious heart,
Laura Homer.
