Tonight I sit and cry alone After waiting here by the phone
IF I don't hear her voice tonight All the wrong things won't be made right
As another tear falls to the floor My watchful eye stares at the door
Pain stings and lonelyness kills My hand it shakes but holds my pills
My knees tremble, my heart is weary Trough glazed eyes I can't see clearly
Our love has faded out of sight I will not see it's face tonight
I can not see tommorow's hope While hanging here from this rope
I'll die in this house hanging alone After waiting here by the phone
