Engel im Schwarzen

Topic: LovePoetry

Humans,
Successors of this earth,
You have been long heaved
Under the weight of your own lies
But I, simple being, know the truth
Angels are dressed in black

Nobody understands the purity
In such a color so dark and obscured.
There is a light behind every film;
An innocence in every shame.
And within each shadow cast,
There is an angel following sweetly.

So simple as I ran into such an angel
An angel dressed in black
And even as he spoke through certain lips
I had discovered something.
Something much superior than the treasure I held.
I unearthed the truth behind the deception.

We are both cold in the palms of winter.
Yet his breath is warm,
And my heart is easily subjugated.
It rooted within his chest through the dark,
And quickly the affections soften the steady ice
Gestures were said that I dont understand.

Spoken in a language not known by our tongue,
But one only alleged through passionate eyes;
One shrouded in clandestine messages
Sent through adoring lips.
And thats why I stand clear on my words.
I know the truth,

Angels are dressed in black.
