A sickening feeling is rising Drifting to and from the shores of my sanity To change my outlook My sight is as thick as a blanket Sewn shut with the bindings of reality Black velvet eyes If I find my other side I will try to peel away All that keeps me here I can finally say goodbye I shall be my redeemer Until then there is quiet before the storm Carefully waiting Till the day I can see What has confined me all these years.
