Trolley Square

Contributed by oneir8dude on Wednesday, 14th February 2007 @ 12:12:11 AM in AEST
Topic: anguished

A young man with his whole life ahead of him
Felt his soul was empty and his future grim

He took a drive in the wrong direction
His torment slipped through everyones detection

Everyone always says he seems so nice
He never said a mean thing not even twice

He came from a war torn land of bleak despair
Some say this was the reason for his blank stare

He was only 18 and has been here for some time
Why would he crack over this at a drop of a dime

"He was such a good boy. I don't know what happened,"
Was said after his gunshots, their ears deafened

He took 5 lives and ruined much more
Even before he walked through that door

With his backpack of ammo and 2 guns
And no remorse for the things that hes done

We cannot analyze the mind of evil
Their orders dont come from God but the Devil

You cannot fix their internal design
Youll only hurt whats yours and mine

Put them away or put them down
Send them to the hole or put them in the ground

The innocent pays for our liberal ways
And it is showing in these darkened days

May peace find the way to YOUR faceless victims

I think you did an excellent job with this. I saw it later on the news after I asked you what it was about.
It's really heart wrenching when these things happen.
Good job.
Big huggs, thanks,
emy

Sad and powerful, condolences could barely touch.
