Why do I keep hope?
Looking forward with each day.
Thinking that today might be different.
Wondering if today will be my chance.

Hope is a powerful force.
And yet, not powerful enough
What could help me
With a most daunting task?

What is hope?
A distraction?
Something holding you back
Keeping you from your goal?

Hope isnt something to hold to
It is a crutch to hold you up
But it wont move you
It wont keep you forward.

You have to grab what you want
You cant hope it will work out
Reach forward, pull yourself
And make. Not hope.
