Tragedy

Contributed by InfamousG on Monday, 24th February 2003 @ 05:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: AmericanTragedy

Bodies are frozen, time seems to slow down
Another tragedy, more blood stains the ground
Souls cry in pain for other's grieving anguish
A deepened sadness for another tragic event
Ill-fated demise troubles our hearts again
People of the world all feel the hurt within
The earth stands still, as if frozen in time
Horrifying images forever burnt in our minds
An unanswered hope that this is all but a dream
The moment passes and the earth seems to scream
Some hearts fill with hate and others look for blame
Some fill with fear but the most sum up strength
Begin to comfort souls and bring the grieving aid
A new hope is born, and we're no longer afraid
Through tragic events it brings us closer together
We no longer see differences we begin our endeavor
Regain our hopes and dreams for a better tomorrow
To never forget the lost, and remember our sorrow
To cherish lost souls, so their death's are not in vain
Be strong within because as time passes so does our pain
