" Angel Of Heaven "
I know an angel
that sadly has tears
rolling down her swollen eyes
standing alone
in the moonlit night
I look up and I wonder why
I look up at the stars so bright
oh God I see a beautiful sight
I see Heavens Angels
singing songs
hoping to make her feel all right
She is now an Angel of Heaven
from this life we know
she had to die
leaving behind
all those she loves
as she now sits alone to hurt and cry
nobody really sees
or feels her heartfelt tears
and her emptiness but me
nobody really sees
or feels her heartfelt pain
that I can clearly see
seems like a nightmare
Im trying to forget
but its reality come true
cant close my eyes anymore
to go to sleep
I can only think of losing her
it happened quickly
and so early in the morning
on that evil September day
so many good people
living their lifestyle
some go to work and some to play
the great twin towers
of New York standing tall
as they always have before
the first plane flown by terrorist
attacking the twins
to stand there no more
total chaos erupted
as many people trying to rescue
those that may be alive
then came a second plane
collapsing our freedom
as it took its deadly dive
parents, children, pets
workers, police, firefighters
and many, many more
screaming and standing
in a path of death
as these evil terrorist soar
as this evil terrorist dust of destruction
finally begins to slowly fade
we all saw and felt
their sadness of loss
as many bowed down and prayed
too many good people
and so many lives were lost
on that evil September day
with me now
please bow your head
for those lost lives and lets begin to pray
I still stand alone
in the moonlit night
as I look up and I wonder why
I know one single Angel
that sadly has tears
rolling down her swollen eyes!!!!!

I was truely moved and touched by this. It brought tears to my eyes . I remember this day as if was yesterday. I am overwhelmed by all that has happened since then. This touched my heart and soul. I am honored to have been able to ead what I believe to be a masterpiece.

this is the best and the most beautiful way to let our heart to feel the pain of terrorism and disaster, my friend you must also know that just not that "one single angel" but the entire world population - "sadly had tears rolling down her swollen eyes!"

Your beautiful words brought a lump to my throat .... I remember hearing the first reports of this tragic happening ... I couldnt believe people didn't stop what they were doing just carried on shopping ... but they didnt really HEAR what was being broadcast over the radios.
You know, my heart goes out to you .... and tho I couldnt begin to imagine exactly ...I feel for you and your loss and experience of this all .... Continue to be inspired by her waiting for you and we all know one day you will be together again .... but not just yet

a wonderful dedication to the saddest day i have ever known...very well done!
that gloomy day, and the ensuing week, is one that could not, and should not, be forgotten... i've dropped many tears recollecting this series of events, and your poem just released another...
