Are you here with me now?
A voice keeps telling me how you're the air I breathe
A hopeless romantic, I still believe
Everything I need is in you
But where am I? I can't see a thing
Whisper me a sign, just one clue
I'm getting swept off my feet
And where are you?
I can here your words resounding
Through my broken hearts pounding
Weaving through the breeze of my lonely sea
Echoing ever so faintly
Off the waves of pain that drown me
On an empty beach I stand
Losing myself in the sunset
As I hold out my hand
Watching my castle of dreams crumble
As my teardrops hit the sand
I must lay myself to rest
Say good night to the day
Place my hand upon my chest
And float away.
