Let the Rain Fall

A year ago I wouldve never imagined Id be here. Yet, here I am, and I am happy. Not a second goes by without thinking about him. Not a breath I breathe goes without needing him beside me.
It feels like Ive known him forever, but its only been a year since we met.how do thing like this work? Who really knows? Who cares? Im so happy, I could fly.
Let the rain come down and wash away my fears. Let me float away on this silver wave. So many days of struggle. So many hours questioning my survival, but now I cant question anything. It feels like nothing Ive felt before
This wintry land may be cold, but inside Im warm. Inside I feel like Im on top of it all. Im not ready to give it up. Im not ready to let go.
Let the rain come down. Let the storms take me away. Im going to hold onto him until daylight dies. Im just so happy, I could fly.
Storm clouds gather in the distance, and I say let the rain fall.
