Oh wont you please write me a letter,
And tell me what hides in your heart?
Ill keep it forever and ever,
And treasure it more than great art.
Ill caress each word with my eyes dear.
And pretend that Im touching your hand.
Ill kiss where your lips sealed the letter,
And day dream about being your man.
Ill hide it so it wont get stolen,
And read it at least once a day.
The only thing that could be better,
Is to have you come to me to stay!
So wont you please send me that letter?
Ill wait by the box every day.
My heart then will sing above measure,
At each precious word you will say!
