From the very moment that we met
I knew there was something special about you that I hadnt quite seen yet
Taking walks and speaking of the future, present, and of the past
That special part of you began to show rather fast
Smiles and laughs were what you gave to me
Even the feeling of some security
You helped out when no one else would
You gave me everything that you could
That feeling of you grows stronger everyday
I cant allow myself to throw that all away
Ill change myself in everyway
Showing you so you will stay
People say we werent meant to be
I say that Id have to disagree
Im missing you so very much
Missing everything about your touch
From your sweet soft lips
To the gentle touch of your fingertips
I miss the glowing of my face
That feeling I get from your embrace
They say if you let someone go and they come back to you
Then you know that the love is true
Even though these times will be rough
Well make it through because we both are tough
Falling asleep at night is hard to do
Thats because I cant stop thinking of you
One day you and I will be forever
Times of separation will be never
Loving you is how I live
My life is something I would give
Till the day we are together again
I will be forever waiting until then.

This is very beautiful. I can very much relate to this. I have a friend who I was dating that we have kinda stepped back for awhile due to his career in the military. I love this read .Thank you
