children, our future

Contributed by riverofwords on Monday, 24th February 2003 @ 09:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

do the best that is in you
tell your children you love them
and to keep the spirit of the child within
teach them to face adversity head on
do not pressure them
let them develop with guidance
tell them they are special
and can be anything do anything
teach them to have an open mind
be postive in your care of them
always have love in your heart ..peace on your lips and a positive outlook
and your children will flourish
my children and yours
they are the future

Great wisdom expressed here, riverofwords.
I wish I'd been that wise when my children were little, ... but, then, I did the best I could.

As a teacher, I am aware of these sage words. but as luck would have it, most thing are easier said than done. Oh well.
