He sits alone with broken heart,.... tears drop from his eyes
His loved one, looks upon, from way up high,.... above the clouded sky
His pain may never leave his heart, his soul, his insides out ...
His love was strong ,forever more,.... unconditional there's no doubt
His eyes now empty, his heart does ache
How cruel fate,.... from his arms,....her to take ....
How he wished it was he, that had gone on ahead
For she was but, an angel, taken instead ....
And so life goes on, and so must he..
but how? when his life is consumed with she?
The time will one day, come for both to meet again
Tho he must wait in sadness ..... never really knowing when ....................

Oh malcomsdreamgirl, what a heartfelt poem you have given us to both admire and feel. The emotional content just reached right off the screen and touched my heart deeply as many people take their life and especially their loved ones for granted. Never part your special someone with feelings of anger or hurt as it may be the last time to say I love you and offer a kiss because you are so right that we never know when our time may come. Excellent write. Thank you so much for sharing your love of poetry with us all once again as your talent is always glowing brightly. More importantly, thank you for giving us all a little more of you.
