there used to be a glowing light
in your eyes that shined so bright
but now all i ever see
is pain sorrow and misery
something must have got you down
cause theres a darkness all around
your soul that was so full of life
but now it is just filled with strife
turn back the clock and make it right
i want to see that shining light
back inside your loving eyes
and not the tears that you have cried
my love will be here till the end
for eternity and back again
please let me help you if you can
i need you to understand
theres nothing you can do or say
that will ever push me away
the love i have for you is strong
