Lost Babylon

Time ages the memory, of your peaceful atmosphere, your river's flow of harmony and a memory aching a dried tear...
Like Atlantis layed down its head in the seas, in the solice of the ocean, like Eden evaporated in a breeze and man was robbed of emotion.
The tower stood tall, made of stone, so high... if one would fall - one would break every bone and pass onto eternity...
And yet, the time ticks on and every day builds on another, each breath with a new sun delayed and smothered in acid rain and muddy feet that leaves a stain.
Babylon, your rivers still flow, your flowers still grow in the memory of a lost time...
Missing you... time plays tricks on me, I wait... counting the seconds
counting the hours
counting the dusks and dawns
and I watch the seasons pass
- all the time passing -
knowing...
I'm just part of this lost memory.
