Live & Breathe for You

Contributed by gurlg0newr0ng on Tuesday, 13th March 2007 @ 07:38:37 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Someday maybe you'll wake
sometimes I know it's hard
and someday maybe you'll see me here
and someday maybe I'll matter more

Maybe someday you'll understand
Sometimes I like to pretend thats true
and someday maybe you'll love me
sometimes I swear I never even knew you

Some nights I can't even rest my head
some nights I cry in the dark
Someday I hope you can feel guilt for
at least some of the mess you've caused

The suns still shining outside
the worlds still living it's life
all of those things are right there
where you left them behind
You can't expect everyone to stop living and breathing for you
except for me, but you don't even know I do
live and breathe for you

You cared less and less
until you just stopped all together
Will we have to live like this forever?
You just ran away
Was there nothing you could say?
I can't continue life this way
Oh my love, what did I ever do?
just go on lovin you

When the suns still shinin
the worlds still spinnin
everybody else just keeps on livin
and breathing too, except for me and you

This piece gets me to invision a beautiful flower growing and every day the sun shines less to nourish it and it wilts and wilts each passing day until it finally is crumpled over and dried up with the lack of sun and nourishment. It is sad and beautifully true we are the same without the love to nourish us.Beautiful piece and may the sun of love shine again on your petals.

A fine piece, the poetess exposes heartlessness of her lover, but it can be generalized, as majority of the men considers Woman a toy, the play and throw them away, they don't not the world does not have a proper place for the woman once wronged, Woman remains steadfast but on the other side Man remains flirting without being conscious what codition His partner going through. The poem is a mixture of light and dark, hope and dejection, but steadfastness remains prevailing, language is smooth, as the whole the poem expresses general concern of the life and world. Good job, take care, the world is not yet devoid of good people.
Hugs
