Cocaine and Opiate

Contributed by whitfields on Tuesday, 13th March 2007 @ 01:43:05 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

Let me tell you about this bad girl,
A girl by the name of cocaine.
You can snort, smoke, or inject her in a vein.

She will even let you sell her to think you'll get ahead.
The truth she is hiding is getting you in prison or even dead.

Cocaine will get you to love her,
And love her yes you will.
Some people also fall in love with her brother,
Opiate in a pill.

Now you're chasing both of them,
Your a complete mess.
You have to take them constantly,
Or you'll be in horrible stress.

So before you mess with this family,
Realize there is nothing to gain.
All this family will cause you,
Is a life full of pain.

And yes i am telling you this,
Because it is true.
Eveytime i get involved with this family,
It makes my world blue.

I like this poem. It's cute. Although, the deepness of the subject doesn't match the sing-song feel of the poem. Still, good work.
