Don't call upon me, If your longing to be free.
Don't you call upon me, If your looking for sympathy.
Don't scream out my name, If it's not me you desire.
Don't scream out my name, To put out your fire.
My love is your's, For the taking.
But my heart's not your's, For the breaking.
Don't say those three words, If it's not what you feel.
Don't masquerade, Behind what is real.
Don't bring me up, To put me down.
Don't make me smile, To make me frown.
Don't turn my dream, Into a nightmare.
Don't stand beside me, If for me you're not there.
But if your intentions involve, The complete and honest trueth.
Then completely and honestly, I love you.
And if completely and honestly, You feel the same.
Then tightly embrasing you, My arms will stay.
Just make me one promise, And keep it forever.
You'll hurt me not, Not now not ever.
For you this promise, I'll make and will keep.
And never break it, Even past my lifeless sleep.
So if this you feel, Then here I stand.
Waiting for you, With my arms wide open.
