Tell me how do I forget you
The inspiration in my life
Oh please tell me what to do
The heartache cuts like a knife
Weve been apart only a short time I know
We shared together, so much to gain
How do you expect me to just let go
Of all the laughter, tears and pain
I understand your heart & mind
Your problems deep within
I know that given time
Your life again will begin
That life wont include me
I know that, wish it wasnt true
But as I sail on lifes rocky sea
Ill pause & smile, remember you
I gave my love, my heart & truth
To you without regret
The happiness you gave to me
I never will forget
My only hope is that one day youll see
Realise I was honest through and through
And although were far apart, when that day comes
Ill know in my heart, Ill know at last
That You DO. believe in me
