Ill wish upon a star tonight
Wish that you are well
You see I cant just call you
And me you just wont tell
Ill wish upon a star tonight
Wish that youre not feeling sad
Ill send a warm embrace to you
To soothe & make you glad
Ill wish upon a star tonight
Wish that you will find
The way through this struggle
So no longer will it bind
Ill wish upon a star tonight
Wish that you believe
Not everyone in your world
Wants to hurt & deceive
Ill wish upon a star tonight
Wish that one day youll be free
To live your life without
The shackles around that seem to be
Ill wish upon a star tonight
Wish for my heart to reach you
To know that you are cared for
Much more than you ever knew
