Today I remembered
The day we first met
A little fear I had inside
I knew I liked you
I knew you liked me
But what if it was different
What we could both now see
We went for a wander
Round the centre we did go
Then for some food
You held my hand
Oh our happy mood
We went for a drive
I remember you looking
Staring at me
I left you that night
With a glow in my heart
I knew right then
On a journey we would start
We met the next day
I remember me saying
Sun in the sky shining
Felt like being on holiday
We continued to see
Each day learning, knowing
My love for you
Forever growing
Youre in my heart
Each day when it starts
Today I remembered
The day we first met
Etched in my memory
Ill never forget

Beautiful poem. It is always great to remember the very first day that you met someone whom you fall in love with. I remember the first day I met Rob. And then got to re-meet him and be able to call him mine. Love can be grand and so can the memories.
