Everlasting Love

Sometimes, no words can say what lies deep within a heart.
Sometimes there are no tears to cry, when loved ones are
apart.

There is a subtle aura that seems to pervade all the air
A universal understanding, to say that special person is
there.

At times we know we are not alone, when everything is shared.
We know that we are truly loved, that someone really
cares.

There is no time, nor distance that can separate true love
For love transcends the universe. Even death itself, it is
above.

Such is the true love they searched for in days of yore
And it is the power of the love I know we are all searching
for.

Sadly, many of us wear blinkers. We may as well be blind.
But the blessed among us, I am sure, true love will surely
find.
