Alone here at night
My thoughts are of you
What happened to us
What did we do
Some external force
Driving a wedge
Deep in between us
And over the edge
Deserving only
To be all alone
Fight this together
A battle to be won
No crime are we guilty of
Other than just being human
Real love runs deep
Bound by true emotion
Can we find a way
A way to overcome
All of this turmoil
Or forever well stay done
Alone here at night
My thoughts are of you
What happened to us
What did we do

I feel the hoplessness your conveying in this write . How nice it would be if only we could circumvent the questions and answers love always seems to inflict on relationships. As though there were some great test we must constanly keep taking no matter how sure we think we are of love. A great deal of conviction in your writting.
