The Red Dragon Tavern, Late at night.
Pouring outside, Quenching the fights.
Men getting drunk, Talking of news, When a lone Traveler came in, Singaling ques, "Hail, friends!" he said.
"I came from town," "A great battle's been fought," "And the Red Knight found!"
All the men cheered, And toasted their drinks, As the Traveler asks, The barmaid thinks.
"Could I get a room?"
"Why of course you can!" "Go to the last," It's the best in theland!"
So the Traveler went upstairs, And down the hall, To the last door there, Thick and tall.
He layed down his head, As dreams took his mind.
He slept that night, At peace and fine.

I liked it. It held fantasy and an older time kind of vibe. |
