Into the black, washed in ink, vivid loudly spoke. Out of the cleansed, now marked, for ritual acceptance, He left the fantasy with a patch.
Turned around in three days, for punctuation of his flesh, A little flare, a little sting, A little tag That says Hey Im alive, my body a temple, I will decorate Before the tomb
Two more times that week, and twice the week after Since then its been two years, two sleeves His shirt, pierced with color
Art its what makes me, pain it helps me Feel the sensation of being alive I might be odd, but the number seems to grow In a few years some one will name us a tribe And reconstruct Surgical Steel Road
Life has told me, its not about the individual Its about how you place it, its in the arrangement Of all the world, There is harmony, somewhere for everyone Find your place and enjoy your time Before the tomb
Into the black, washed in ink, vividly marked now For ritual cleansing, cause, I thought I should

You did a good job. You expressed your feelings and anger. Good poem.
Take care

Yes, 'before the tomb'.
Interesting expression.
Body mods, piercings & ink....these are a few of my favorite things...
Thanks for sharing this piece.
