Sat here I silently cry
No one will ever
Catch a tear in my eye
I fake a smile so well
No theyll never tell
Sat here I silently cry
Thinking of you
With a tear in my eye
I wipe away quick
So they cant see
What losing your love
Has done to me
Sat here I silently cry
A song comes to mind
I think of a time that
I could still smile
My mind drifts away
For a while
Sat here I silently cry
They say its better to
Have loved and lost
Than to never love at all
But that doesnt comfort the fall
Sat here I silently cry
I cry for the love that I have lost
That hasnt come back to find me

So true is your second to last stanza. This was such a sad and heartfelt poem. You did a great job on expressing yourself and I liked how you repeated that line in every stanza. Great poem.

no, it never does comfort the fall. i think thats one of the most true and beautiful things ever thought of (2nd to last stanza).

Aws.....Im sorry that your love has to be hidden...Its not fair, is it?
We find it, and then hide it.then go for the wrong way...Why cant it just be something to be so easy? I hope you can find it one day and it finds you back. POwerful and deep write.....very well penned, keep posting...will read more.
