I thought you were my destiny,
That maybe it was gravity,
You moved across this land from me,
My heart is broken into three,
You said our love would be enough,
But love is hugs and walks and stuff,
Insomnia came stalked my nights,
And stole away sweet love's delights.
I'm pining for the dreams we shared,
Of beach huts, no ruts, losing cares,
I've finished with an empty world,
The world i wanted with this girl,
This life just seems to complicate,
I wish it simple, wish it straight,
The girl I love is full of hate,
Contempt for me, her ex soulmate.
Come back to me or be away,
Tomorrow is a brighter day,
I know you'll find a better way,
Of living love, I wish you'd stayed,
My always angel grew her wings,
And flew her off to better things,
I've been so awful, coping bad,
The sweetest girl I ever had. x
