A Tribute to Friends

People suck, the world is mean, and doesnt care if you cry.
People are fake and never think twice when they tell a lie.
But don't think its hopeless and don't feel depressed,
because your friends love you and are the best
thing in your life, when life is difficult
and see what's positive where others find faults.
Friends make you laugh when your tears aren't done drying
and never stop supplying a love so undying
that you can't help smiling when you know you should be crying.
They take you in their wings and keep you flying
when you normally would plummet and fall,
and if you ever needed help, who else would you call?
But friends don't wait for you to call,
because they know you all so well.
They'll be there beside you through it all,
even when the pain hurts like hell.
Now I'm writing this poem to let you know,
that friends take the time to tell you they care
and always take the opportunity to show
that your worth more than a billionaire.
And that items of value cannot compare
to how special you are.
