Dear Love,
Please don't talk so loudly
As your words scarre and bruise
For i wish you would notice different
What this is turning into
Dear Love,
Please don't look so puzzled
Your signs are un-clear to I
I wish to break this silence
And explain all these signs
Im begging you to go
But I need you to stay
The coldness of the night air frightens me
And I still wish you were here
Darkness? I can't help this anymore
For my tears burn, my throat closes up
I can't feel this physical pain no more
But I hear emotional abuse
Dear Love,
Please don't shout
Stop carving your name across my heart
For your words can only cut so deep
And as the red rose wilts
One day i might just... sleep.
