Shooting star fall upon a dream
and wake a wishing soul.
A soul who dreams of love,
to fill a hollow heart.
So simple star, shine so bright
Will gaze upon your rays of light
If saddened nights do come on by,
when midnight dusks, the navy sky.
Oh shooting star fall upon a dream
and wake a wishing soul.
That wished for love, when laid to rest
You are that fallen star, sent from up above
to fill my hollow heart.

This was captivating and I found myself so
lost in the last line. *sigh* how endearing.

A very soft ethereal flow and dreamy imagery.

I love this altogether. Beautiful post!!
