Ain't Finished Yet

I'm not a deep thinker
don't really want to be in
any of the new things
that are happening
and I
reside in the shadows
in the hall
where unknown legends flow.
I see the local toughs
and it's really absurd
on days gone by
they'd be beaten down
without words
and I
can't recall
a time
when there was so much hurt.
As time goes on
I have a few things I regret
and I'm gonna have more
cause I ain't finished yet.
I feel the love
as new sensations spin
I recoginise the evil
as paranoia and the doubts begin
and I
still recall
memories
of tales that are no longer told.
The way people talk
I just don't understand
nothing is simple
and to much is happening,
I sway
In a daze
and slowly fade away.
There is really nothing
that anyone can do
the world's gonna change
old things will be replaced by the new,
but still
I keep observing
I ain't finished yet
legends of old
I will never forget.

As time goes on

I really like that part. .It makes me think of my ownself and how much truth that those four little lines hold.. They are powerful though.. This poem was well done.. You are a very talented writer..
