You gave me your heart
Or so you said
I felt it beating in my hand
But it was all in my head
Now I know
How it feels to hold a heart
In this life of mine
You'll never again be a part
You can not give your heart away
For you don't have one to give
You ripped yours out and burned it
Thinking it would help you live
But now you have no reason to live
And I don't feel sorry at all
Except for your wife with your child
I feel sorry that she had to fall
She does not deserve what you do to her
As you do not deserve to have
The devotion she gives you
The life that she lives for you
And you can't even give her half
Of your so-called broken heart
