i saw you waiting
to lean in closer
anticipating
to tell me more
but i pulled back
too scared to look
and now im counting
how much it took
to know your name
to feel the same
to let go of the broken promises
the past i had no reason to hold onto
to see you near
to think you fear
to say exactly what you shouldn't
well, i don't really care anymore
i saw you smiling
your eyes so bright
barely denying
with all your might
i walked in late
accidentally on time
and now im guessing
hey, are you mine?
i know your name
i feel the same
these sleepless nights i dedicate to you
the little ways you pulled me through
i see you near
so much to fear
and its so easy but so hard
well i guess that there's no harm
if you knew that i miss you every second we're apart
