Sequential differentiations of a drone

Contributed by ferasdour on Monday, 16th April 2007 @ 10:48:59 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Like a common drone
I walk amongst the dead,
As the warped mind this darkness creates,
Like a drone,
I walk onto their graves, seeing their visions in my head,
Witnessing all that life mutilates,

Like a common drone,

In this place, the cold, damp heat,
From daytime warmth, as if the spirits of these creators absorbed it,
Like a drone,
As meaningful as the night does beat,
To the sound weakened by the site of words on one mans fiery pit,

Like a common drone,

These words remain written,
Despite weather abolishing the rest of its stone,
Like a drone,
As it stated, loved by all; loved all; but all never knew, such truth be written,
I understood this man was not just another to be stoned,

Like a common drone,

I decided to look through his life,
The very way I had done the others too,
Like a drone,
I look throughout its soul, seeing nothing but pain and strife,
As the stone declares, he never knew what was in front of him to be true,

Like another common drone,

This creation of humanoid based life, only when dead it knew,
Just what they stated upon their tombstone,
And like a common drone,
All their knowledge was denying them the power of two,
For they refused to adapt to reason of those who lie and stone,
This creation was never alone,
But a drone,
You see,
Would have known the soul was forever alone,
In

But as the common drone,
I have come to understand a life,
More powerful then my own,
Like a common drone,
I see things now for what they are, only to the enjoyment of a knife,
The visions I saw within this mans life, where not mine to own,
For I am still just another common, lifeless, drone.

A drone;
But now I am being for warned: never to trespass upon the dead again.
Unless to respect those who have departed me, I feel,
Like a drone,
I never shall return and force my mind to connect with such souls of sin,
For this mans life, scares the hell out of me. Despite me being of steel,
