Rain

Contributed by crow on Wednesday, 18th April 2007 @ 10:31:21 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Come closer,
do you think of me
in your Winter rains,
grays touch the ocean.

Come sit,
my hands as warm,
merely empty.

I reminisce,
incidental moments
remind me....you too?
the paths we walked are the same I`m sure,
void of our impressions.

Do you think of me
when the rains fall?
it`s been so long...

Well, better go,
rain is passing,
thought you might like to know...

I think of you,
Rain, is that way sometimes" .. Vincent

Love the rain and this made me remember things..so many things. When I was just a child my father would sit out in the rain. Now that I am "all grown up", I see I must have obtained my love of rain from him. It is refreshing, renewing and seems to wash away the old. Thanks for sharing. This was beautiful.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

I see rain makes you think too
It makes people sit and wander......wander off in to drifting worlds......which are sometimes wonderful and sometimes not.......Great write, it flowed nicely and gave the reader an enjoyment......Love it

The Neo-theatres are moved by the gentile tacitility of this submission.

The metaphor contained within is of excellent quality-a rather monumental achievement considering the subject of rain is something where the potential for cliche' looms as threateningly as the image of the cumulus you have posted.

beautiful.

Well written and very beautiful. It caught me up in a moment of rain where life can be so beautiful as well as peaceful. This was a good poem. Well done.

Take care

Nature has an infinite capacity for inspiration and you have used this superbly.
Your words are beautifully soft and evocative, I wish for weather like this right now.

Masterful,
Dom

The rain is a wonderful time to reflect and washes up thoughts as well as the dusts on the face of the earth. It is said after each rain the energy of the earth changes...as if to give us a second chance for change...nice thought.
Well done.
