You were here when I was born
And you have stayed all my life
You have been my safety net
Always here to make me feel secure
I havent always relaced how lucky I have been
Not all the mums cares for there child
The way you care for me
I have meet sons and dougthers
That cryes for a motherly hug
They figth for abit attention
But gain notting at all
There mom dont care
And the child cant see
What they have done wrong
This child will never feel
The comfort I have felt
They have never been tucked back in
If they wake up at nigth
They have never got that hug
That tells them that all will be allrigth
I have been the lucky one
With a mum that care
So I`ll just say thank you
For letting me know that
You are allways there
