She finds new ways to hurt herself
But still finds herself wondering why
She seems OK by all accounts
Shes pretty
Shes good at school
She has friends
She has a loving family
So whats the problem?
She feels like shes living in a world not meant for her
Where smiling feels like a betrayal,
Laughing is unimaginable
Comfort is non-existent
And love is cruel.
The world turned its back on her
And she cant do a damn thing about it
