It hardly made a difference to me, weak brews and quiet sympathy solitary pursuits of places and things but never leaving the ground no, never with a heart on wings
one in a million - probably more so few possibilities yet still unsure but thats how it happens, chance encounters and arrows of fortune laying us low in our joy
Now its coffee and sweet glances, Butterfly kisses and slow dances (In the hallway In the shower In the bedroom)
from alone to partnered bliss - can it get much better than this? if it does Im a goner, because the sweet rhythms and laughter and strong java are romancing me, romancing me off my feet
Now its coffee and sweet glances, Butterfly kisses and slow dances (In the hallway In the shower In the bedroom).

Beginning with you wonderful and quite interesting opening comment this had me from the beginning. Great job, fantastic job, hell this is gentle and enchanting. Wonderful contemporary work! Romantic, enjoyable, and light. Cannot think of a better piece to read on a Saturday afternoon, especially these days!
WONDERFUL, BRAVO!

Gee... and here I thought I was the only one that brought a cup of coffee into the shower with them. LOL
I'm likin' you in the Lyrics category, Spikito. You had my attention with the title, of course (I mean, come on... 'tis the stuff dreams, no?). As others have noted, the author's note is an attention grabber as well.... though, I'm not sure why anyone would want to suggest an acceptable or preferred timeframe on lovin' - that seems unnecessarily restrictive to me. *wink*
I'm teasing... but I do seriously like this very much. The chorus is a treat.... four delights, three locations... yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! you've put together a fine list there. I'd give you my "how many outta four" but I'd need clarification first on whether an enthusiatic imagination factors in to the calculations (?). : )

S, this truly swept me away ..
I agree with snems .. the title is perfectly wonderful!! (And I do mean
wonderful!!! lol) Savour these timeless moments, dear poet, for
we know not when the coffee runneth out! lol
seriously .. the third verse is so beautifully captivating, I almost envy
you. :) Adorable in every way.

Spike you got the perfect blend here of light-heartedness and romance. Its so easy to go sickeningly over the top when talking about love, but this was beautifully gentle and pleasing to read.
At the moment I have to agree with you on that author's note though! Reading this made me feel unbearably wistful!
Take care,
Dom |
