Oh How the Tables May Turn

Contributed by justagirl82 on Monday, 23rd April 2007 @ 12:59:55 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

The moment I raise myself up,
They push me back down.
Why is it that they wont let me just be?
Are they insecure of themselves and showing that through me?
Or is it fun to watch me fall?
Is it fun to watch me cry?
Is it fun to laugh while Im reaching out for help?
Is it fun to know its all your fault?
Please inform me,
Because if its really that fun, maybe its your turn to be the guinea pig and Ill be the one laughing.
How does that sound?

Good job. We all would like to turn the tables every now and then. Just make sure not to turn them in a violent way. You get more accomplished with words and making people think about themselves than hurting them. Hurting them only justifies their intial action. For if you are actually a good person, then why would you retaliate? The way to prove you are above the pack is to be above the pack.

Great Job!

People have become animals, it will be ok :). Just go on with your life and ignore them, they'll leave you alone when you show no interest or reaction to their actions.

I really like the first part of your poem but then I don't liked very much the last part (please inform me till how does that sound?). Apart that, the poem is really good :) Great job!
