The world looks so crazy
ice caps dwindling away
oceans rising
a little every day
Animals be dying
from loss of habitat
So many on the endangered list
What do you think of that?
Or do you, man?
Does it ever cross your busy mind?
That we're slowly killing our planet
one life form at a time
We seem as humans
to destroy all we find
our greed consumes us
it clouds our human minds
Unsure when this was penned.
2005 or 2006 perhaps

So fervent is your vigil Laura my sister, your heart so always caring about this planet of ours and rightfully so. Another beautiful poem about a place soon to become not so beautiful. For soon mother earth shall unleash her rath upon us all discriminating against no one, that to rightfuly so. Excellent write my friend.

I was thinking about things the other day sis, the bible thumpers preaching of hell fire and brimstone yet we are creating a hell right here on our own earth, with not only selfishness, greed, pollution, war, killing of innocent animals, ignoring our own people laying in the streets, maybe the fire and brimestone would be better ey? I feel if we all preached something other than saving our souls in the end the final result would be a betterment for all. I loved this write!!
