Do you remember
that one night?
When I yelled at you?
I know I sure do.
That night I cried
till my eyes were red
I remembered how sad you were
and how you thought our friendship would tear
I wanted 2 remember
and see if I recognized
if I even apologized.
That night I stayed awake
remembering that big mistake
I remembered the times we had
the good and the bad
I remembered that one time
when I thought of you
and wanted 2 say I love you
I remember that one time
when I ran away from you
and wished I didn't know you
I also remember
even 2 this day
that is not true
because
I love you
