Too much soil and debris fill this space Spring cleaning is much needed Get out that broom and bucket Get to work scrub the past away The rubbish that is harmful and in my way
Take down those drab old curtains Shake all the dust away Throw them in the washer to cleanse Hang them when you feel like on some other kind of day
Sometimes it takes a messy house to realize there are many things to be done Get rid of those old cobwebs That seem to gather when not looking Air out this place, and let shine the sun

How true it is... Cleaning; it is the most frustrating work of all, and you have brought it out very beautifully.

A lovely poem, it does take that gradual accumulation of dust and cobwebs (or apathy and negativity) to make us realise just how much we need to get up and do something about it, whether it be the literal cleaning of our house or a spiritual cleansing of our body.

A lovely work of wisdom as well as poetic anology. Guess u could say that about a lot of things in life. Assessment can be a most valuable arbortraitor in deciding what goes and what stays. I love that loft picture wanna rent it out lol. Make a hell of a recording studio. Beautiful work my Sister Laura.
((((Peace2u always))))

Oh wow! I'm doin' a bit o' that spring cleanin' 'round my place gittin' ready for visits from Butch Howard 'n' Spike who's comin' in October. Remember Butch? He's comin' to my place June 5th. This wonderfully written piece seems to meet both the physical 'n' metaphysical of life. Great work, Laura.
