Poison to all I meet
Venom rolls from my mouth
Suffocating those near
Breath you'll keep...I doubt
I'll turn you inside out
Make you writhe in pain
Set my past out on a clothes line
Everyone's to blame...cause I'm insane?
Biting with vicious words
Wounds they fester and smell
Living in my world, baby
Is like living in a freaking hell
I'll choke you out, sweets
I'm the weed that smothers
Delicate flowers wilt and die
My poison's like no other
Don't waste your wonderful life
Don't use up your precious space
Run to the arms of another
Go man, do so in haste
You stay, I'll suck your power dry
Pull you down love... with me
I'll turn you into something you're not
Just you wait and see
I seem to lust for pain
Constantly inflicting on ones' self
I do not deserve so called happiness
No man, that's for someone else
So let me again warn you
Let me try to open your eyes
I am poison, deadly poison
Womans' body...my disguise
Twisted somehow
Somewhere, but not sure why
All that I know is...I'm a poison
Causing all I touch...to die.

an absolute stunning write from you laurabean!! I love the wording and flow. this is actually a very relastic write on how some people can be posionous.. this is so cleaverly stunning.. great job here

Wow Laura,
This poem is dripping with poison, the liquid that imparts destruction on human life. It is powerfully written, and the imagery is potent... a 100proof you might say. You powerfully depict the devasation that alcohol can cause.
