I can see the hope in her eyes
She helps the helpless as she sighs
I can hear the children cry
As theyre told theyre father has died
I once tried to give to the poor
And i remember my insides being torn
Why is this world dying?
Am I changing anything?
When I lend a hand to the needy
They continue to want more from me
What if I cant provide more?
What if I am a part of the poor?
I know the wars will not stop
No country will ever reach the top
So why continue the pain
It puts my life to shame
The world is coming to an end
Look around you now, at your friends
While you blind yourself from the truth
I will watch as I leave my youth
Bodies will litter the roads and
I will stand and watch this world explode

Ohhhhhh this really touched me, I could feel and sense some confusion and sadness within its lines. Bless you hun for doing for others.... and yes you are making a difference. If you touch but one person a day the world becomes a better place to be.
