Doubt,
Gradually filling all the corners
Of my mind.
Manifesting itself in the shadows,
Feeding off my uncertainties.
Slowly,
It begins to change into fear,
Quickening my pulse
And stealing the air
Right from inside my lungs.
Blurred,
My surroundings become unclear.
Lines and colours mixing
Into one another to form
An image of confusion.
Disconnected,
My thoughts separate from my body
And run circles around my head.
Meaningless words joining,
Creating senseless sentences.
Will the madness ever end?
