Hiding behind the couch
Thoughts are just
Racing through my mind
Can he hear me?
Can he see me?
What is he going to do
When he finds me?
I hear his foot steps
Getting closer
My heart starts to race
I jump up
Screaming surprise!!!
he runs over
Kisses my forehead
I tell him I needed
Him a few months ago
He didn't say anything
Just held me tighter
With his arms
As he says
IM HOME!!!!
