Let's just hide
veil ourselves in our
chess game
Surrounded
by the boundaries of the bibled bustle
ALL
atop stubborn boxes
Let's re-enact the war
be what we cannot be
in actuality
it's so much easier that way
Indulge!
in the tapestry of kings and queens
knights in shining armour
and forget our roles as pawns.
and what we hate most?
is interruption
Don't knock us out of our fantasy
deny our cocaine and ecstasy
because what lies in front of us is a
chaotic entropy
we are not
strong enough to face it.
