Third time on this lonely weekend
Out of town with him
I pick it up, I'm tryin hard not to cry
As I hear your restless voice mumble
This is his girlfriend...
And you have every right to know

You should probably know he's been with me
And I should tell you that he tells me he loves me
Every now and then
From time to time
But it's hard knowin' that I'm less than I could be

What's in the back of his mind
He's missin' you again
So I'm runnin' out of time
I'm sick of what we have become
And all because he's still with you
I'm not doin' this to hurt him anymore
Don't you know kills him when you walk out that door?

Only takin' all that's offered to me
No better than what you've always thought of me
