Silence and
The noise resounds
Makes no sound
A phantom fight
Each weary night
Pain behind
The oft-shut eyes
Chaos and
No fight to bay
No thought of pain
Each second lost
A peaceful gain
Laughter from
The oft-shut lips
Nothingness
A simple dream
The lilt of laughter
Gone unseen

Five lines
Five indents in the sand-
Colored skin and the
Crimson waves leap
With sadness or with joy
Five lines
A staff from which
The red symphony flows
The silent voice crescendos
With sadness or with joy
Five lines
Five stories to unfold
Dazzling rose ironies
Lighted in anxieties
With sadness? only joy
